Jessica’s passion for improving organizational cultures led her to completing a Doctorate in Consulting Psychology. Over the past 12 years she has designed and implemented organizational and leadership development programs for all types of industries. These have included an array of consulting engagements covering strategic planning, culture, leadership development, and evaluation.
“Jessica is responsive and skilled at creative problem solving. She has solid communication skills that help the team deal with project-related stress. Her extensive education in organizational/leadership development was apparent and beneficial.”
Her leadership development experience includes designing, implementing, and managing a 9 month leadership development program for large paint company. She also partnered to design leadership development programs for a fire district, a housing commission, and provided feedback and coaching using various personality inventories (MBTI, CPI, Strong Interest Inventory, 360 degree feedback).
“Jessica and I had the opportunity of partnering on a coaching project together. Jessica brings joy and energy to any team. She’s insightful, hardworking, and isn’t afraid to take risks.”
In different consulting assignments, Jessica developed and conducted an organizational culture survey for a local government, a focus group survey for a county grant, a survey for San Diego County, and managed the survey systems used to collect data for a consulting firm. In these efforts, she also conducted interviews, led focus groups, and interpreted the data and provided recommendations.
Currently, Jessica and Jeff are leading the City of College Park, MD in developing its vision and strategic plan for 2021 – 2025. Because of the pandemic, the nine public and three stakeholder focus groups were conducted via virtual technology. Jessica led the survey design, data collection, and analysis of the resident and employee surveys where they expressed their needs and wants for 2025.
